Jing has a strong passion in music and sound in the performing arts. He enjoys collaborative projects and experimental works, in which he can explore different interpretations and elements of the production. Jing hones in on the sonic experience for the audience - what, why and how one listens through a live performance.​

He was awarded the Singapore National Arts Council Overseas Education Scholarship in 2011 for his Ba(Hons) Performance Sound at Rose Bruford College; where he graduated with First Class Honours.

Nominated for Best Sound Design in the 2014 Off West End Theatre Awards for Outfox Productions’ Corpus Christi (UK).

​

Nominated for Best Sound Design in the 2018 Straits Times Life Theatre Awards for Dragonflies (Pangdemonium Theatre Company Ltd, SG).

​

Currently teaching Arts Management and Theatre students, the sound apects of Stagecraft / Lighting & Sound module at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore).
